Location: Here | I want to share something heavy on my heart.
I ask that we as a nation, Pray. Pray for President Obama. I pray our Lord give him the guidance, courage and wisdom this country needs right now. I pray he knows the Lord Jesus Christ and if he does not, I pray the Holy Spirit enters his heart. I pray for our health care system. I pray for those that are in a position of power that are supposed to be making wise decisions, that they start doing so. I pray for our military, what brave men and women they are. I pray for the innocent that are being murdered.
God answers prayers. I feel we all need to start doing some praying. This is my challenge today and in the days to come.

Although I do believe our "president" needs prayer, I do not believe he was put in power to help our country and/or make wise decisions. I believe this is all a part of Gods plan. It's all happening just the way it has been intended to. I pray we all remain focused on THE ONE who matters. And put our trust and faith into Him. The rest, unfortunately, isn't going to matter. Prayers for our troops. Prayers for our families. Prayers for all of us as a nation. |

It's all happening just the way it has been intended to. I pray we all remain focused on THE ONE who matters. And put our trust and faith into Him. The rest, unfortunately, isn't going to matter. Prayers for our troops. Prayers for our families. Prayers for all of us as a nation.

Amen, SG, I completely agree with you. I pray for all that you mentioned above. I am by no means an Obama fan, but I pray that we as a Nation can set the criticism aside and just offer up prayer that he can lead this country with God fearing intentions. I pray that he can take a stand for what is right instead of what is popular. There will always be those who criticize. I truly feel that if we, as human beings, spent less time criticizing one another and more time in prayer and acceptance this would be a better place. |

Location: Montana | Amen, amen, amen. God rewards those who earnestly seek Him, who are called according to His purpose. Prayer does work, I have not doubt of that. While I think Obama has made many bad mistakes, we have to realize he is no different than you or I...he just happens to hold a government office. How many times a day do we go and make the best decisions with what we have to work with and later realize it was a mistake? That doesn't mean I'm pro-Obama, or think he couldn't have done better, but sometimes we need to extend a little grace. Maybe I'm just an optimist, but how do we know we would have made any different of a decision? It is all in God's plan, and God generally has something pretty special planned who try to obey Him and do His will. :) So we'll keep on praying, and I'm confident God has everything in control for those who seek Him. |

A lot of times we fail to put our trust in God and the truth of it is, we cannot control this situation so we all NEED to pray and God has commanded us to! We may not LIKE president Obama but we can pray that his heart be changed and that we get through his time in office! He is still just a person like anyone else, he may be evil but God has power to change him. A lot of times Christians, myself included fail to "trust and obey" God and instead we spend our time criticizing, worrying and gossiping, think if we all prayed and instead tried to make the world a better place!! |

Location: In a happy place | I believe that Jesus came to save sinners. His work was not for the believers. Had it been it would all have been easy and it wasn't. I can't stand Obama and what he has done to our nation. I do know if we gather together and pray that God can move mountains for us. If we don't pray for this man and our country we could very well be lost forever. I beg of you to pray for our President and elected officials so that they can be guided in a way to save our nation.
If Obama doesn't believe maybe our prayers can change his heart. If he should believe maybe prayer will be what he needs to make him strong to stand up for our country.
I am better able to talk than to type what I feel so I hope this makes sense.
