What boots do you like to ride in? I have a pair of square toed boots that are comfortable to wear around but I hate riding in them. They make me feel like I'm wearing skis. I have a bigger foot (size 9-10).

I love love love my Ariats. Only boots I will buy/ride/do anything in. I also love my square toes. Right now, I have Ariats Sidekick Wing-tip boots and love them! I don't get the real wide toe, because I feel as if I don't have enough room. That's my PO :)

I have a pair of Justins, round toed old cowboy style heel. I bought them in the men's section. I also wear a size 10. They are great. I have a pair of square toed fatbaby's too. They don't seem to bother me too bad. But then again I accepted the woes of big feet a long time ago.

I have an 11 and the only boots im comfy in when riding are justin gypsys with round toe. I had ariats with square toes and they werent comfy. Also had ariats with pointy toes which i hated. Im either in my gypsys or my ariat terrains which are like hiking/riding boots.
Edited because i cant spell :)

My all time favorite boots are the Tony Lama 3R boots. They have a narrow square if that makes sense. loved how they looked and loved how they felt even more!!!!

I mainly ride in my Double H Buckaroos with a round toe. They have gel souls and are so comfy! I also ride in a pair of square toe Justins, just as comfy.

Don't mean to change the subject but does anyone have trouble with their boot getting caught up in their stirrup? I'm not sure if it's the boot or the rubber on my stirrup that makes them catch.

I love love love my boulets! I wear buckaroo boots and leather soles. I feel like I can feel my stirrups so much better and I love the buckaroo style because because they keep me from getting chafed legs from my rough out fenders (I ride a ton of colts and am using my legs a lot, and the ride isn't always smooth) and they just feel better.

I have a sweet set of Boulet's that I have re-soled 3x now- always leather soles. I totally feel your pain on the big foot part! :)
I like leather soles and a boot that really fits my foot. I have found that riding in a crepe sole or thick rubber soles just sucks and you have a tendency to get your feet stuck in the stirrups.

The most comfortable pair of boots I have ever owned is a Boulet. I have a square toe pair. I can be on my feet or riding and they are great. I also have a pair of Rockies that have a point nose that the very tip is squared. They make my foot look a little bigger but super comfortable. I can't wear Ariats for any length of time. They really rub for me. That's my two cents worth.
