Location: MD | minus the fact that I face planted at the metro on Saturday resulting in an awesome concussion and a swollen face. Now I can't do much physical activity until it goes down. I'm seriously considering getting a personal trainer and doing a boot camp. We're doing at trip to Florida in December and I'm just not happy with the results I'm getting on my own right now. I was taking some fitness classes but it didn't seem to do the trick either.
did it work for you?
what did you pay them?
what kind of things did you work on? |

| I use to be a personal trainer. I came to my clients at their houses. I brought equipment with me but found most of my clients had at least some equipment we could use. I lovedmy job .. some I visited twice a week others every other day some hired me to come over everyday. We did weight training and cardio mixed together. Similiar to crossfit. We trained for an hour each session. I charged $60 per hour. I was so extremely busy I was training 8 clients a day. I drove alot because my clients were pretty spread out. The thing my clients appreciated the most was me coming to them and not having to deal with any gyms or feeling intimidated working out in front of other people. |

Location: Texas | I did!! It was a love-hate relationship. Loved the results, hated the workouts. Best shape I have ever been in and thinking about doing it again. Of course, it really helped that my trainer was the hottest guy I have ever seen. I NEVER skipped a session. |

Location: Tx | I did for about 2 years (about 6 years ago). We did some trading out, so I never paid much, he was new to the area and I had a lot of contacts so referred him a lot of people and I was in his videos to promote him and he discounted my fees. I believe that he charged $150 to $200 a month.
I greatly benefited from having him. I was already in shape from playing sports in college but he was the push I needed to keep going. After I learned good habits, I quit using him just because our schedules got so hard to coordinate.
Some people will always need that person to push them to do just 5 more reps... others can get in a good routine and are able to push themselves.

Location: Where it isn’t cold! | Brenda has used one for about 5 years now. She and her sister go 3 times a week. I think they pay about $25 a session, but they split that. She goes pretty much regularly all but the time she is gone on the road. I went with her back in 2010, for about 3 months, and it did good things for me, but when we left for the winter, I got away from it and haven't motivated myself enough to go back. She and her sister love it and are very dedicated. |

| I pay for one regularly. Unfortunately I don't love to work out but I love the results....if left to workout on my own...my workouts are mediocre at best lol....I NEED the push of a trainer. I got my butt kicked last night and although I hated every minute of it, I feel amazing today. Its truly the 2nd best therapy in the world.....second to my horse of course |

Location: Kentucky | It's worth the money. I had one for about 8 months and noticed a HUGE difference from when I would work out by myself. You can learn the workouts and once you get the hang on it, you don't need to pay for one anymore.

| Have you heard of orange theroy fitness? I work out there and it's like having a personal trainer without the expense. It's a group class with a trainer giving instructions. It's high intensity but man it works! Look it up. It's awesome. Highly recommend it |
