I have, made it to state finals in high school would have made nationals but knocked over a pole and he has ran at a few amateur rodeos and placed. his bloodlines are Bugs alive in 75, but his mom wasn't registered so we couldn't get him registered...he was just an old cow horse we picked up at the sale barn from a person we knew |

| A young girl ran a really nice mare in the NBHA probably 10 years ago. I think she won several National/World NBHA 1D Championships. I can't think of her name right now though. |

Was the mare's name Lexus? I seem to remember a grade mare named Lexus winning some big stuff.
I think the girl's name was Roni Terry?

Pecan! I think it was TB/Welsh cross but Im pretty sure it was no accidental breeding and the welsh was her jumping mare correct? Either way they were good stock not unknowns... |

Roni Terry is the one who ran Lexus and cleaned up everywhere they went!! I think she has gotten a few colts out of her by some really nice studs. |

| We're trying to build one now but the world is against her, she is 14 maybe 14.1 tall, being trained by a 16 yo girl and is a mutt. |

This one came from a nice family just learning horses and wasn't broke to ride. They were able to get on her but had no idea how to train. But they did the smart thing and found me, and they got finished horses. My advice would be they need to respect you on the ground first and learn the ground stuff and they will respect you when you ride them. This mare is around 14 hands and 4 and is riding nice after a few weeks. |

Sounds exactly like ours, the previous owner just went outside one day and her young daughter was riding the mare bareback in the arena, we have had her for 3 or 4 months now and she is cruising the pattern pretty good at home and exhibitions good so we might enter in the youth this weekend to gauge her. |
