Location: Minnesota | Thank you all so much for the prayers for my dad. I got a call from him yesterday around 230 and he was all in a panic saying he thought he had a stroke. I travel for work and yesterday I was about an hour and a half away from home..
My husband ended up getting home first so he rushed him to the hospital up by our house. They determined that he did in fact have a stroke. He was transported last night Down to the university of Minnesota hospital in the cities where they could care for him better. I will update later today with any news I get.
Thank you all for the prayers. Hugs. |

| My FIL had a stroke several years back. He also had lost feeling in his left hand. After PT it got better but not completely. He would drop whatever he held in his hand and not know it. My daughter showed him a very simple hand exercise that helped him a lot. He has not had a stroke since that small one. My MIL has severe arthritis and he has to help her and do the housework/yard work. He takes good care of himself and takes aspirin daily. I hope this helps you a little with your anxiety. I know we worried about him for awhile, calling several times a day and a very special friend goes by every day to visit. But my FIL did return to his old self. I pray your dad does too. I wanted to add he is a very competitive person so he made his PT a competition with himself and worked on it when he was at home too. |

Location: Minnesota | Thank you all for the continued prayers. This morning my dad woke up about 430 and came upstairs with a can of peas and asked if he could eat them...we are working on controlling his diabetes and he isn't sure what to eat anymore. I'm gping grocery shopping for him now.
I'm also doing some PT stuff with him at home. Were working on picking up plastic bottles and smaller things. I'm completed dedicated to helping him recover. Your prsyers are so greatly appreciated.
Ill update again soon.
