Location: Texas | What are your favorite rope halters?
I saw some somewhere (I know, that really narrows it down), they was very soft, maybe a braided cotton. The ones I have are so stiff, I really don't like the ones I have. Any recommendations, because, in general I do like them better than normal halters?
Thanks,
April

| I think he charges around $50. They are really good quality with a thicker nose band. Last forever |

Location: Willows, CA | Years ago Ray Hunt would sit and tie halters in the evening and give them to friends. I still have some of those and they are a prized possession. |

Location: Too far from home | My husband makes all of our halters and I love them. Stiff enough that they hold their shape when you're putting them on, but soft enough that they aren't like tying a piece of high tensil wire. I'm a very simple, low key girl, but I am a bit of a halter snob : ) |

Location: on my horse | Uhhhh the cheap ones from the feed store although I do take all mine that I buy apart and put a bronc noseband on them. buying the pre made halter and adding the noseband is still cheaper than buying the rope and making my own or buying the bronc band. |

| I've never used a mule tape halter, so I just looked it up and came across this page, these look really cool. I thought I'd share.

Location: TN | I highly recommend half circle ranch halters! Halfcircleranch.com they have tons of options and the rope they use is practically the same as Clinton Anderson and the others'. |
