I had a 100 day bottle of the oral kind I got from my vet. I couldn't administer it since I was Preggo myself so the hub did it for me. I had good results with it.
I don't want to poke mine every day either so I am interested in the oral kind. Regu-Mate is pretty expensive so I'm wondering if the compounded stuff from Wedgewood is cheaper.
There is a generic oral. I can't remember the price difference, but I'm thinking it's around $50 less per bottle. I've used it and Regumate and they seem to work exactly the same. I have gotten injectables in previous years. The one I got to maintain pregnancy left big knots all over my mare's neck. I gave her the shot once weekly. I got a different injectable to keep a mare from cycling. That did not leave any of the big knots, but it wasn't as consistent as using regumate. So I went back to regumate or the generic, whichever my vet had in hand when I run out.

I have my mare on the injectable, seems like it cost me about $160/bottle through my vet. A bottle lasts me most of a summer I give 3CC's once a week in the muscle.
