Trying to compare apples to apples.. same size short wall, same interior (just little bit color variation), same horse compartments (flow thrus, stud divider, drop downs) and same exterior features... (mangers, hay rack and generator) and getting a $10k difference between 3 horse and 4 horse...... does this sound about right??
Husband really wants a 4 horse and the more and more I think about it the better it sounds because if I ever haul two horses to an overnight race in a 3 horse I will be maxed out on space. I just have a roundabout number in my head that I don't want to exceed and bumping up to that 4th slant is gonna have to up the budget by half the price difference in the trailers.

I wouldn't think that it would be that much difference.....because you are just adding 36" + of dead space to the trailer.....everything else is the same.

Thank you; this is my exact thinking.
Now I'm wondering if it has something to do with supply and demand for certain sizes? As in more people want the 4 horse so they raise the price just because they can? I've not competitively priced 4 horses so I'm not for certain.
The 3 horse we're looking at is priced under any other 3 horse with all the same specs (except interior and I'm sure that's a big difference, but neither are Outlaws or anything supreme) and to compare those higher priced 3 horses with the 4 horse model is only about a $4k difference... and that I can somewhat justify.
