Working on my wish list of what my pony needs... :D And I have some questions!

My gelding is 16 and I've been running him since he was 7. Obviously, at this stage he requires some maintenance. He has had some injections - hocks, stifles and left front coffin in 2011, and hocks and front ankles this past August. Vet said in August on the x-rays it looks like he has the beginnings of some sidebones in both front feet. He injured his right hind suspensory in 2011, and was turned out for two and a half years to heal while I went and played rodeo queen, so this summer was our first year back.

I currently have the BOT hock wraps with holes at the point of the hock. Has anyone used both types of hock boot and noticed any difference?

Do the quick wraps cover the ankle/coronet area? Or would it be best (or even work) to use the bell boots on his front feet in conjunction with the quick wraps?
