Does anyone here feed pumpkin seeds to their horse? I've read a lot of good things about them but just wondering what experiences people on here have had.

I just started today. But all I can find ate the ones with the hulls still on. My question is - do they have to be dehulled when you soak them to get the most nutrition out of them?

I have heard it is an awesome natural dewormer but I cannot find the evidence or the amount needed to feed

Iv'e used them for ulcers along with chia and have a colt confined to the stall on them presently.  Adding slippery elm on the bad horses.

In the articles I've read, they have fed 1/4C am and pm. They also talk about the benefits of dried cabbage for the hindgut.
