What a great post!

I found out the cause of my infertility and had surgery recently to correct the problem. So finding out there was a solution was an answered prayer!

I'm so blessed. I got my horse back, working like a rockstar after a year of being apart. I have a healthy, happy, wild two year-old; and a healthy, happy, getting wilder two and a half month-old. My husband has jobs lined up through the winter, the sun was shining today, and I couldn't ask for more!

Great thread!!

Congrats Hoofs - new jobs and new opportunities, cheers!!

My happy this weekend was compounded by finding a saddle that actually fits my 3 yo and she worked beautifully in it!!! The fiance and I also got to spend some much needed time together crashed on the couch eating the BHW potato soup and watching netflix!

We've closed on 30 acres and land clearing has started. This is huge from our wish list of 8-10 acres. Other things in life might be tough, but a reminder of what is good is GREAT.

I found a home for my dad's cat. She had been staying in his house alone since July when he had to go to a nursing home, (a friend was feeding her and changing her litter box). She was SO happy to have someone pay attention to her! (I already HAVE 3 indoor cats or I would have taken her in a heartbeat.)

Watched my 11 year old niece finally hit on all 4 events at her last regular gymnastics meet of the year and beat her old best all around score by 1.5 points. She also qualified to the State meet!!!
She is diabetic and had been out of school for most of the week with the flu, I took her on Saturday the day before her meet and we worked on a few things, kept it simple and just gave her some reminders about where she was losing points that were easy fixes, basically just body position type things.

I've started hauling my 3 yo filly & 3 yo stud to the roping pen & local barrel jackpots. They were nervous, especially the filly. She wouldn't get within 30 feet of a steer & now she's pushing them down the return alley. They've never seen cows until we started hauling btw. I'm so proud of them

My 24yo, mostly retired, rarely ever exercised, sway backed, grass bellied, sometimes senile old goat of a mare ran .67 off the leader today at a 200+ entry barrel race and drew a check in the 2D.  I don't think she ever ran that fast in her prime days.  Two weeks ago she ran 1.4 off at the same pen and I was tickled pink over THAT one.

I got to take my mother to her hair appointment this week and then we ate Mexican food.  I am so thankful for the time spent with her.....she is starting to fade so every minute spent with her is a blessing.
I joined a cross-fit gym two weeks ago and I love it!  Thankful that I am strong enough to do this.
Love my two new pound puppies....they keep me laughing.

My husband was in a horrible accident on friday morning. A car hit him on our tractor from behind going 50 mph.He was thrown in the air over 50 feet. He was to be lifeflighted but it was to windy to fly,so the took him to metro trauma by a squad. He has many injuries,BUT HE SURVIVED,and is ALIVE. This is the best thing thats happpened to me recently. An accident that by all rights should have taken him from me,gave him back to us.THANK THE LORD
