Location: Oklahoma | I would look at PC Lock N Frost... for the TB blood in her, I'd look at a foundation bred stallion if you're wanting a versatile foal. |

Thanks twistedK. I agree that he would cross very nicely on her. Adds lots of bone and a beautiful head. |

Location: Wisconsin | if i get a filly i will keep her, but i honestly am not a huge fan of colts and geldings. Definitely looking for a barrel horse prospect. This mare is quiet sane and level headed. built like a tank so i wouldnt mind a smaller more refined stallion to get that perfect cross. Would like to stay around 1500 if possible.

Location: DUMPING CATS AND PIGS IN TEXAS :) | Saw PC Lock n Frost a few weeks ago and he is really nice. He has some nice, straight, correct foals on the ground. He is beautiful, good bone, great disposition, very nice conformation, beautiful little head.....plus, the pedigree! I don't think anyone will be disappointed with a foal from him. |

Location: Gainesville, TX | Since you are wanting a filly and something a bit more refined, I'd really encourage you to stretch a bit and maybe breed to Chasin Firewater. He's a proven producer and performer himself. What's more, if it's a colt, his babies sell well. If its a filly, you've got one darn nice enough to make a broodmare prospect. The only worry is both are creme gene carriers so you do stand some risk of a perlino/cremello mix.
I'm also a fan of Perks Firewater Flit (in your price range) who has an excellent pedigree and throws nice babies that I have seen. Go To Moons is also by Martha Six Moons. They tend to be quick, smaller horses with nice heads. He is very affordable. All three should make solid outcrosses for your mare. |

Location: Wisconsin | do you by chance know the stud fee on chasing firewater.... he has an impressive record. Though ive heard that some of those firewater flit horses have to be crossed with something run to get the whole package... |

His stud fee is $2000. I bred to him last year. They were great to work with. I think the $500 investment over your planned expenditure would be well worth it. The baby will be worth more and Chasin has a really strong bottom side emphasizing run. Your mare had some run in her too. I'd think you'd end up with something very versatile. |

Did you check out Laico Ladiesman? He is a ton of proven pedigree for a mere $1000 that includes shipping on semen. |

| Might look into HOWELLING CORONA got some gorgeous mostly fillies on the ground the Tb side of him will give you that refinement your looking for...getting height to them too...and he is just gorgeous. Sane minded so are the foals.. and he has a SI of 97 beautiful and sensible foals too.
Oh and he carries the xFactor large heart gene bound to become a brood mare sire. directly 5 times to the Darley Arabian.....
Love mine......he is advertised here on BHW with a stud fee as low as 750.00 you can't go wrong...and his foals are beautiful to boot.

Location: Gainesville, TX | I have a weanling by him now on the ground. So does TheOldGreyMare. Both are exceptional looking with excellent minds. I sold mine to a lady in Canada. I have lots of pics but am away from my office and on my phone. You can find me or message me on facebook to see. Karen Grace Brown Campbell. Once you do see you won't want to breed to anything else I'm betting. :) |
