I just want to say the GOP better thake the reins and do something good and not screw this up.
I also want to say to Pat Roberts - get your act together and come back to your state of KS to keep in touch. IF you run for re-election next time you may not win. |

Charles Krauthammer would agree with that analogy. Yesterday he said if the GOP couldn't pull off a major victory the future was dismal for Republicans. |

Location: Bastrop, Texas | I think the one remaining question is how will Obama react? Will he at least try to salvage at least a few meaningful accomplishments before he's through, or will he continue to follow in the footsteps of Adolph Hitler, the man after whom he has patterned his rise to power from relative obscurity, in spite of no qualifications or accomplishments. Will he do what Hitler did and adopt a "scorched earth" policy and continue to do whatever he can to leave a widening wake of destruction in his path? Let's see what he has to say later on today. |

I was very happy that Mia Love won UT district 4. I think she will be good for our country. What a change today is for from 2 years ago when I stood in the alley of my barn weeping out of fear for my country. Today is a good day. Finally, a chance to stop the radical progressive movement. |

ahhhh but with two out of the three "ruling bodies" the senate and reps can at least start injunctions and stall presidential mandates right? So if O decides to run the amnesty idea through, the GOP can threaten impeachment, right?
Or did I just mess up all the HS civics I can remember?? |

I do believe that starting either impeachment or "stalling" tactics was part of the necessity of the GOP taking back the senate in this race.
(obviously among other things, like lets have a Republican president again please) |

Curious, why does she feel SDl should voted for the Dems??? I have lived in Texas my whole life and surrounded by conservatives. |

| "We celebrate the 4th of July, not April 15th, we celebrate independence not dependence" Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker. Wisconsin had a 57% voter turnout. The Dems have thrown everything they can at Scott Walker to get him out. He has survived 2 regular elections and a recall election since first elected in 2011. He is moving Wisconsin forward and Congress should take notes. :) |

Obama was visibly angry......seemed to blame poor voter turnout for the defeat......What? Still maintains that all is wonderful and he's doing a great job. Still plans to use executive order whenever he pleases, wants to slow deportation of illegals (how much slower can it get) and grant amnesty to a few million (did he miss the killing of two deputies by an illegal in California). He and Jerry Brown should have attended the funerals of these officers. |

People all across the US have spoken. A gal on my FB feed last night posted - "I don't see how any South Dakotan can NOT vote Democrat". I'm like - WTF? But I was a big girl and ignored it. She's a cousin and I have the right to say - Nanny nanny boo-boo! I too have ignored all the stupid posts from some of the "dims" on my FB - it FLAT FLOORS me that SOME of them STILL think OBOZO is a good pres! That cool aid must have REALLY been good. I read a post that Greg Abbott winning would keep us Texans stupid and uneducated, the only way our state stays red.
Curious, why does she feel SDl should voted for the Dems??? I have lived in Texas my whole life and surrounded by conservatives.
I'm not sure if she's brain washed or if she thinks everyone wants handouts. |

I watched the rundown of the press conference from the White House yesterday. Reporters were on BO like a duck on a Junebug.
Yeah.... 2/3 of those who didn't turn out to vote. Implying that 2/3 of the country are Liberals? I don't think so. Probably 1/2 of that 2/3 don't care, the other 1/2 are Liberals who have grown a brain and know the country is being flushed down the toilet but can't bring themselves to vote for the Republicans.
I'm not a fan of the most senior of the Republicans in Congress, I think the Mitch McConnells, and Pat Roberts of the Senate need to go, but they were simply the lesser of the evils in their races. I just hope they get things done and get the country turned around.
What I'm most afraid of though is the upcoming temper tantrum from the Narcissist in Chief. Narcissists don't like to be shown up, they don't like to be proven wrong. He's going to try to use his phone and pen to royally screw everything up. |

I think you are thinking of Bill Janklow. He served as SD governor for many years, then he was elected to congress, I think. Janklow was speeding and hit a kid on a motorcycle, and, if memory serves me, he left the scene. He was eventually convicted of manslaughter. I think he died last year. |

Ahhhh you're right! My bad ... wait Janklow died??? WTH ... in prison? I totally missed that one.
But, still I agree that Tom D. and Janklow both didn't help that state ... And, back to the main topic; This mess/sh!te is just starting .... I hope that congress can actually accomplish something. |

Yes it is! And he STILL has plenty of time to screw up our country even more than he already has!
We just had two cops shot from one of Obama's border buddies. He was sent back for crimes in the USA and they allowed him back in. Sheit's getting real. |
