| When I was on the fringes of the App racing world, they couldn't be had for cheap. They aren't much like TBs which are thrown away left and right. Most already have careers planned for them after racing, before racing. I know several that were sold to Brazil for $$$ and locally for $$$ after being started as jumpers, barrel or rope horses. You would need to talk to a breeder directly. Most now days are in OK, CA and ID. |

Location: Kansas | Love the look of the stud prospect colt!!!! Too bad there really isn't a market for them around here, or that AQHA will accept resulting offspring to be registered through them or else I'd have him in a heartbeat!!! |

Location: Gainesville, TX | I'm not generally a fan of Apps. I've ridden a few and we didn't get along. I've known friends who had some nice ones. But I like both of those. If I had the moolah and wasn't spending it on mares and training right now I might risk it. |

Location: Too Far North | There are a few OTT appaloosas and a few race bred appaloosas for sale on the aphc web site. Go to aphc web site, go to the for sale tab and choose the discipline race and you will find some, not many! |

Troubled memories (her stud) was sold and I think he has passed on.
She does still have her good mare that got injured out of him as a broodmare and I think a few other ones.

Location: Middle Tennessee | I just bought a race bred App colt (never raced though). He's my futurity prospect. He's a smart one. He goes back to Man with the Power, Bully Bullion. Dash for Cash, and Tiny Charger. I'm excited about him. He's my first App prospect. |

| I have one. She is a Troubled Memories daughter and her dam is a Briscoe County Jr. (First Down Dash)/Rare Bar mare. She is getting a late start but she goes to the trainer in Jan. I love her and can hardly wait to ride her. |

yes ma'am and I have an older gelding whose dam is a sister to one of Kenna Squires' good broodmares she got from Wanda Bush that has been put on the back burner, too. |

Location: Pineville, La. | I have one, but my family has owned Appaloosa's in one way or another all of our lives, raised them, showed them, won a lot on them. I searched high and low to find one that I felt was the "ONE." I have not ridden another Appaloosa after I retired Cowboy, who won me the Louisiana High School Championship in Barrels and Tri State Rodeo finals. So she has big shoes to fill. lol I hope I have found "the one" in this mare, she ran in Oklahoma, Bella Corona aka Rue. One of the sweetest horses I have ever been around. Here is here Pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/bella+corona2

Location: Pineville, La. | Also if you join one of the FB pages Appaloosa's for sale, etc, they sometimes have off the track ones on there offered for sale. There was a really nice one a month or so back for 1500 I think. 2 year old. |
