Location: MS | I am looking for our hotel for The American and trying to find one with a shuttle to the stadium. Anybody stay at hotel last year that offered a shuttle?
We chose to drive last year (and pay for parking) but after having to walk in the freezing cold/sleet I think I'd rather do a shuttle just in case this time.
Thanks! |

If you use the link from RFD-TV it takes you to the combo package. I just go to ticketmaster.com and type The American Rodeo in the search box and it brings up tickets for the semi finals, PBR combo, or just The American itself.
I was playing around yesterday, and I did find that I could get better seats to The American if I bought a combo package with the PBR. We went to the PBR last time, and it was fun! Planning to do it again in 2015.

| Purse must adhere to the NFL guidelines see thru and be of a certain size. Should give you info on either the stadium website or the American info |

And just to add to this - no knives! There were several men around us last year that had to throw their knives away or take them back to their vehicle. |

I learned that lesson the hard way too!!.....I had to go to the OKC courthouse a couple years ago and in my dually (won't fit anywhere!), I had to park 6 blocks away and it was 110 degrees out...so I get inside and they make me dump my purse and there's my really nice stainless knife with the clip on it...the cop takes it and tells me to either take it back to my vehicle or drop it in the box....I thought there is NO WAY I'm walking back and forth to my truck again for that knife, so I dropped it in the box and told him he better get to the box at the end of his shift before anyone else and get that knife for himself because it wasn't a cheap one....gone forever!!! I should have gave one of the homeless guys outside $5 to watch it for me...LOL... |

Location: Heart of Texas | If you can't stay at a hotel that has shuttle service, the parking lots will offer them to you when you use their space. They charge but sometimes it's worth it. A shuttle will only get you so close so plan to walk regardless. I didn't take a purse but they didn't stop anyone walking in with one, so I would say you could take yours. Have fun! It was a blast last year! |

| Your purse has to be a certain size. They will look through your purse as you walk in the door. It was a great rodeo and I hope to get to go this coming year |

You can carry a small purse or pouch in that's no bigger than the palm of your hand. So many last year did not know this. Luckily we did.!! Look up the rules for NFL Stadiums. You'll find all the answers there. |

Location: Down South | We stayed at the Knight's Inn in Arlington. It was on the other side of the intersate from 6 Flags. Not a fancy hotel and not new by any means, but it was clean, had continental breakfast, shuttle to the Stadium, and was only $55 a night. 3 of us went and split the cost. Only cost each person $65 for the entire 3 night stay. In the end we did not take the shuttle to the stadium, we ended up driving and paying to park. I'm thinking it was because the times the shuttle was leaving the hotel and dropping us off would have put us outside waiting for the stadium gates to open. If it hadn't been sleeting and snowing and icing, that would've been okay. |

Location: The Oklahoma plains. | I hate to give up my secret special place but it is close and nice and affordable compared to hotel prices. It is the Sanford Inn bed and breakfast. We are already booked so I am not worried about anyone taking our room:) But I think it only has like 8 rooms total and you could walk to the rodeo only 3 blocks away. Although last year it was cold and snowing so we drove!! |

I didn't have any problems at the Days Inn and there was no parking charge whatsoever unless you had something to park! We flew in and taxied over to the Days Inn and walked across the street to the stadium................the room was nice, the people were nice!!! |
