How do y'all do it?! I have 3! Not 10 lol!
I need opinions on which mare to breed to which stud. I know that there is so much that goes into the decision like conformation, pedigree, personality- ect. I have 3 stud fees paid for. (2) to an On The Money red, Firewater Flit, Master Hand, Colonel Freckles- stud and (1) to Mr TT Pacific.
here are the broodmares:
1. moon lark, jets pay day, lady bugs moon- mare (14.2hh, build like a brick house with small feet- almost halter looking. Cowy)
2. Relegate (TB), Special Effort, Jet Deck- mare (16hh, appendix, looks like QH body on long, thick TB legs with TB head. Acts like racing TB sometimes)
3. First Wrangler, The Signature, First Down Dash- mare (14.3hh, typical racing QH build but short. Acts very "watchy" but VERY smart and respectful.)
the studs
OTMR horse is 15hh and cowy looking. Very docile and respectful
Pacman is a roping horse and has produced some nice barrel horses. Only conformation flaw I see is he looks a little long backed.
Please tell me who you would cross where. I love all of these horses. I just don't have the "foal potential" experience to know what would be the best cross. I have only bought babies that I wanted and worked at vets. I am not new to "babies" I work at a vet that foals out over 100 foals between Jan and March. I'm good in that area I just never made the decision to breed who to what lol.
