It's Currently 28 degrees in North Texas... 0.o

We have a chance of SNOW this week as well... My horses haven't had time to grow a coat and I haven't had to buy a better jacket for myself... Our heater isn't working in our Tack Shop office and I can see my breath sitting at my desk...

I feel like I'm being a baby shivering over here...

How cold is it where you are!? Did it gradually get cold where you are or did it pull a bipolar TeJas and BAM cold?

In Oklahoma it was 26 this morning, very slight breeze and then the wind came up about 8 or so.  I am a whimp...I hate cold weather.

South Texas, Corpus Christi area, its 40 with a 20mph wind. Sounds warm, huh? But, we should be in the high 70's to mid 80's and it's not unheard of for the random 90 day. I do feel bad complaining though, considering what everyone north of us is having to put up with.

It is 4 below where I am right now.  We were 60 on Sunday.  We knew it was coming so we were able to get everything ready.  We have not been above freezing since Sunday night and have about a week left of it before it gets a little warmer.

It is to cold to snow here right now.  I would be more than happy to take a bunch of snow if it would just warm up a little bit.

Forgot to add I am in Northeast Wyoming.

I'm in SE OK and I've actually been very proud of myself these past couple of days!  I made it in 45 degree weather with just a long sleeve button up shirt on Tuesday and yesterday I walked around in the 35 degree weather in my Carhart for 2.5 hours and was fine (normally I'd have about 3 layers, gloves and a hat!).... today I walked out with just a pullover sweatshirt and it was 30.  I'm trying to up my tolerance because I've always had none for the cold weather!!

But, I will say.... last night I probably set a world record for putting on BOT quick wraps.  I had both horses feed out and all four wraps on in probably about 90 seconds!!

Wimp right here too! Getting out of bed was rough this morning. I think it said 24 at my house this morning when I went out to feed. The horses were glued to the round bale, so I think they're adjusting way better than me!

It is 66 degrees here in Tempe, Az. That is cold to us natives to the desert. Not really it is supposed to get cooler here this weekend. I will take it over 120 degrees!

It was -14 F when I first got up this morning, and it is -12 F now here in north central Montana. But at least the sun is shining.  I'd kill for some 28-30 degree weather about now! So all I have to say is "CHICKENS!" Just kidding.

Heck, I've been planning a vacation to Florida ever since this cold snap hit...don't know if I'll be able to go, but it is fun to plan!

LOL Glad too know I'm not the only wimp!!

I'm right there with the 90 second feed run! I dined the horses and dashed!!

I currently have on leggins, jeans, 2 pairs of socks, a ball cap, TWO North Face jackets, gloves and hand warmers... AT MY DESK.... and I'm STILL shaking uncontrolably... Kind of rediculous

Wow, y'all are way tougher than I am. I don't do cold well, neither do my horses. I am in the Houston area, we were in the 30's last night, very windy. My 20 year old was blanketed and still shivering to stay warm. He has shelter and all the hay he wants, he can't afford to burn the calories so bringing him in tonight. Suppose to be back in the 70's next week :)

It is 26 degrees right now and my husband is wandering around outside peeing on fence posts or something while I'm under a blanket wearing 6 layers and drinking sleepytime tea. On his way out, he patted my head, smiled and condescendingly told me that "it's a man-thing".  More like dude decided to hop on the crazy train after deer hunting all afternoon...

Omg!! I want to see pics!!!!  My poor weenie hasn't had it too bad this year, but she cracks me up with her intolerance when it does get really cold.  I don't make her stay out any longer than she needs to, but she'd like for me to just keep the door wide open so she doesn't have to wait for .00001 of a second!

I'll see if I can get some this weekend. We do have one long hair that has a hair cut gone bad (new groomer and long story:)), and he gets to wear his dinasaur Halloween costume since that's all I have for him! I understand the open door thing!

Love the dino costume , haha. My female will run in and out if you double bundle her in dog sweaters, my male sticks his head out the dog door , decides that is as far as he will go and then lifts his leg while the back half is still in the house....

UTAHCANCHASER - 2014-11-13 10:20 AM It is 4 below where I am right now.

It's too cold to snow.  I could not live there.  This coming from a southern person.  Yuck, yuck, yuck......
I'm ready for summer.

It's a balmy 20 degrees up here in ND. A vast improvement from yesterday, which was hovering around 0, plus or minus a few degrees. I want some SNOW. I love snow. Besides, if it's snowing that means it's not too cold.

Kara Creek Cowgirl - 2014-11-13 12:01 PM -20 in NE Wyoming this morning...Weenie dogs are NOT impressed, lol!
It was 29 this morning and my Weiner dogs and Doberman were not having this cold.  It's now 35 and windy and I am having to MAKE them go out to potty.  They would certainly not be happy campers if they were in -20.
Awe!! Lol they're like, "You go out there and squat to pee Mom, I'll use the toilet!" Bahahahahaha
They have blankets with belly bands and baby socks to go out, but weenies are babies! One only gets three socks on though, so one foot will get cold and he can't run away!

Oh my gosh. The 3 socked weenie and dinosaur costume puppy are just the best visuals. I have a 7 week old golden retriever puppy that is just NOT into this cold.

I buy these things at Wal-Mart.... A pack of twenty costs $6. I cook 2 of them off and put them in inside pockets just before I go to sleep. Lifesavers....
