Location: Somewhere around here | Since this cold front has moved in it seems like it's more like winter instead of fall! It made me start thinking what I'd like to get done this winter...
1. Get the wood burning stove working haha!
2. Not get into any car wrecks.
3. Try to ride in my new (Christmas) saddle, weather and baby bump permitting.
4. Bake more creative food.
5. Watch the NFR, at least one night!
6. Go sledding!!
7. Go on a trail ride with silver jingle bells.
8. Stress-free Christmas shopping.
What would you like to accomplish this winter??

I would like to for my husband and horses to heal up, get started on the end of the year for our business and the liquor store, get my tack sorted for sale and cleaned, buy a new horse trailer for this spring. That's my goals until January.

Amen to that, sister! I'm such a pansy; I couldn't hack it up north.
As far as what I want to do (besides stay warm and avoid frostbite), I'd like to smoothly get through year-end at work, get everyone's Christmas presents made on time, and try to finish remodeling the barn. |

| I would like to meet my Weight Watchers goal. I'm down 40.6 lbs and have 14 more lbs to go to meet it.
I have been in the same 5 lb range since August! I was in the 5lbs before that from May to July. I think these 14 lbs might just kill me! |

Location: Winging It in KY | Well, I had planned on showing most of the winter but things have not started out well since it has turned cold. Two weeks ago my older horse fell hard on the 3rd barrel. He seems to be fine but I was pretty bruised. Now this week I have a terrible cold which will just not go away and I haven't been able to ride all week. They say things come in 3's so I am a bit sketic about going. So I guess what I want to do over the winter is get my horse show / rodeo schedule lined out for next Spring. All the goals and places that I want to go to in 2015 with my horses. It helps keep me focused that way. |

Location: SE KS | get my house (inside) organized. We moved into my In-laws 3 yrs ago - (too long story) but I'm still cleaning and decluttering. So I would like to get somewhat organized and get some clutter gone, and paint some rooms. High on the priority list is my kitchen cabinets - need to get them clean up and then I am going to polyutherane them so they are glossy and easier to clean. I did some shelves that are in the kitchen and I love it - they shine and with my crystal on there it is beautiful. I know I won't do it in the spring, summer, fall so now is the time. too cold to ride. |

Location: Buffalo, Wyoming | Since it doens't seem like it is going to warm up anytime soon, I would like to start on some online classes. I will be 30 in March and never went to College. I have been telling myself every year that I will start but never do. I think now is the time to do that from the warmth of my own home.
If it does warm up above freezing I would like to get/keep my horses legged up. We have an indoor but when it is below freezing you still do not want to ride. I have someone that wants to send me a couple of horses and I told him to get back with me when it warms up a little.
I ran a totaly of 5 times this year so I am hoping to have sound in shape horses when things start picking up again. |

| since we don't really have a winter here (I am in Southern CA) but I am 8 months pregnant, I would like to:
1.) get everything I need for baby BEFORE I have the baby
2.) Longe my horses more to keep them in shape while I am not riding
3.) Take my colt down to my trainer's so that he doesn't sit for too long
4.) Re-work my resume and get myself out there
5.) Start a charity for Middle Class families that need assistance
6.) Create more inventory for my custom tack line
7.) Look into relocating to a cheaper state
8.) Keep as active as I can without injuring myself
9.) Get rid of stuff our family doesn't need
10.) Save money yet enjoy Christmas |

Location: The Great Midwest | Oh boy I am an extreme "List maker" but for some reason I never accomplish the whole list!!!
Here's mine:
1.) Increase my inventory for my business for the booths I plan to have next year
2.) Get a different job (Im hoping my business can be it here soon)
3.) Try and get my mare legged up. Shes been off for most of the year because of my mothers passing, so we are a 0 right now on the conditioned scale
4.) Keep my house cleaner
5.) Get my self in shape, quit eating so much fast food and just catch up on life in general.
Oh and I made hubby buy the package that included CBS Sports so I can watch (or record) EVERY night of the NFR, and he just so happened to get some channels he's been wanting, SO its a win, win |

Location: Montana | I'd love to go south, but don't see that in the cards. LOL. But I hope to get my colt saddled and ponying with the saddle before starting him or sending him off for training. I hope to keep my mare in shape so I don't have a big job in the spring getting her in shape. Not completely stress out over Christmas and enjoy the holiday season! And if weather allows, maybe hit a couple of barrel races. And maybe take some classes at the college...we'll see on that one. |
