So i got a text yesterday that said... "its not the cover of the Rolling Stone but i would by 5 coppies for my mother" and a photo of the newspaper was attached. Shes my pride and joy.... She loves her job.... has worked her butt off and in two years went from a cashier (a college graduate who was having no luck finding a job) to the youngest store manager in the fleet of 74 stores.
The rolling stone reference comes from the days and long miles we would spend in the truck chasing the next race.... We would sing lots of songs and make up stuff about the names of towns on the signs we would past. Well the cover of the rolling stone was a favorite of ours and often times we would sing about being on the cover of the Barrel Horse News.
