I typically pull in project horses and start them on the pattern to resell. I've got a TB track nearby that I could pick some up from pretty cheap. However; is there any market for a nice TB barrel horse? It's always seemed like before people wouldn't even look if it was. I'm not looking to get $10k(unless they are REALLY top of the leader board at bigger races), but don't want to put a bunch of time in just to get $2000 out of them either. I've been seeing more for sale and priced what I'd want to get out of them, but have no idea if they are selling for that.

I would imagine there would be a market for any nicely patterned horse, regardless of the breed. There are a few people in my area that run them locally and love those horses.

I just seen this ..I'm going to look at a Thoroughbred prospect tomorrow that is full sister to a local 1D horse...the price is right so I'm going to look.
