I don't know much about Thoroughbred breeding, can anyone tell me about this mare's papers?

I love her pedigree. I worked at Three Chimneys and we had Six Crowns last filly there. Such a cool female family... Chiefs Crown died early in his stud career due to colic I believe. Seattle Slew is awesome too. I don't know her closer pedigree... Is she the typical dk bay?

She is bred for turf and to go long.....decent breeding to boot.  Did she run?

You have alot of old distance breeding on the bottom side.

I rode alot of Icecapade horses, they are usually BIG, sweet and good minded.
And of course way back you have your Princequillo mare lines, they were very much sought after in the 60-70s as broodmares.
High Echelon was a great horse as well.
And to me, there is never too much Native Dancer, they transfer over to all other riding types very well.

Thanks guys! She didn't go to the track from what I could find out. The current owner bought her to get her away from a bad situation and sent her to me to get some rides on her and find her a good home.

She's about 15.2, I'd say somewhere between a blood bay and a dark bay but I'm not a color expert. She's pretty well put together aside from being over at the knees and has some really good feet on her (barefoot).

I know its not up close, but I have a mare that goes back to Icecapade that is BIG and sweet. My newest broodmare. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/elegant+show She is 16hh even. When fed up, 1300# easy. She is an appendix though, not a TB.
