| I'm not 100% on this but .... first of all, WHY do you want to feed a cow FORCO? There are tons of ways to get a cow back on feed after an ordeal as well as re-start their rumen soooooo I'm really curious why you would want to feed it .... |

Yes, you can. The pelleted form was developed because people with bucking bulls needed it. It will really make a difference. |

My dad has a sick cow. She won't eat. Drinks but then kind of vomits it back up. Vet checked for a blockage in her esophagus. Nothing. Kind of stumped as to what is wrong. The vet said to put her on a probiotic. My dad was here at my house tonight telling me this. Doesn't have a probio at home so I was going to send him my Forco. If you have other ideas please share!! |

All you can do is give it a try. It will help balance the gut flora. Good Luck! |

that was my first thought as well .... I'm not bashing FORCO. I'm sure its a good product, but I have never used it. We always dosed rumens with live cultured yogurt: easy, cheap, and can be given with a large (60cc) syringe in an oral fashion. Cattle carry a rumen and can be fed different products that cost less .... IMO.
Good Luck - hope she gets figured out. |

I my instance, it would be for show cattle. An extra edge on their look for a decent price knowing the quality of the product. |

I'm not sure. She is a beef cow not a dairy. We've had cattle since I was little so 30 +yrs. never had one. But I'll mention it to him tomorrow |

Could be. But my dad has always been good at being able to pick up on that. We've had a few over the years. Her symptoms are puzzling to him. But it's alway a possibility |
