Instead, pour about a cup of antifreeze in the tank, pull the trailer just far enough to slosh the tank water around a bit and briefly open all the faucets (hot and cold) & flush the toilet. It won't be enough to cause much problem when you shower, although I wouldn't drink any water or brush my teeth with it. Just shower and toilet til you get a fresh tank full back in there but it'll keep it from freezing!

I have always been told not to run any water through your hot water heater that has the RV antifreeze in it so if you do I wouln't use the shower. Did it by mistake one year and I wish I hadn't. I have run with the heat on many times with no problems at all.

I'd run it with the heat on- there really isn't any reason not to. Trucks run around all the time with constant refridgeration for their products, I don't see how it would be any different.

Something about the propane and a flame going down the road. Can't remember but some friends of my dad's burned up their 5th wheel camper running down the road with it on.

I always run the propane to keep my fridge running- sometimes I run my generator too while I'm going down the road. I've not ever had any issues-

I've run my furnace, hot water heater, refrigerator all while running down the road. Never had a problem. My fridge runs no matter what, the furnace and water heater runs as needed.

I don't think there would be any harm in it BUT, I would worry that it wouldn't be warm enough to keep the pipes from freezing with all that air circulation. I think it would depend on how cold it was.
