Location: South Central Florida | I'm not sure if this is allowed, but I have a question. People that know them, would he be a good cross on a Dashing Cleat, very hot mare? She is fast but a little "special". Very anxious in the arena and would love to cross her on something that will give brain but keep the speed. She is 16h but very long and more TB built. |

He would be a great cross on a hot mare! We actually have more mare owners with hot mares book to him because he is so laid back and has a puppy dog disposition that he is known for sometimes calming them down. The First Down Dash cross has been a great one with him so I would think the Dashing Cleat daughter would be nice. We have had lots of mare owners say they have "special" mares and so far the crosses have turned out amazing!!!! He is 15.2 and weights 1350lbs so he is a big boy and adds muscle, tone and bone on his babies. If she is lean and more refined then I would definitely think that would be a great cross. Best of luck to you and hopes this help you out! |

Location: Oklahoma & Texas | I have yet to see one of his babies i didnt like...i personally have seen and handled several of his babies and all were exceptional...i have bred a couple mares to him and am stoked...will be rebreeding to him this spring as well...i went and saw him when he was at Granada and he was a doll to be around and handle...and did i mention built?!? I would cross a hot mare on him as i think he would help balance that out...every baby I've seen of his had great feet and knew how to move em, have nice heads that tie into nice necks and are proportioned perfect confirmation wise. |
