I have a gelding that I've had checked head to toe multiple times by the vets. We have a gate issue. Now somewhat of a first barrel issue which noammly is his best. Very quick in and out.
I ran blood work everything was great. Now I aslo did a hair analysis ms he said his kidneys and some other stuff was bothering him
When warming him up he's real stuff going to tht right and pops up in the front. His work ethic has gone from a pleaser to he doesn't wanna do anything. He's a really nice horse and well worth the money and time.

My little mare went from work machine to couldn't quite get her in shape it seemed and she kind of hopped in the back end in her turns which I thought was her stifle that she injured 3 years previous. Again, I thought it was the stifle bugging her but vet and chiro both checked her and found nothing...was thinking sciatic and then the bladder thing showed up which then led to the finding the kidney issue. The Equine Natural Care herbs are about 20 dollars less expensive than the Silver Lining herbs for the kidney herbs, it would be worth a shot to run a bag thru him and see if he makes some changes for you. CC's kidney's are still functioning but her immune system was down slightly in her first blood panel.

I have a gelding that had an infection in his kidneys. No one could figure it out until he was acting like a bad colic case and kept stretching out and could not pee and my vet and I caught it- we treated it with a round of HEAVY anti biotics followed by a lot of pro biotics. This gelding would never pee with me on him and never looked great always dull coated- would stomp his hind feet if I was ridding and he needed to pee... Now he's gained weight, coats better, and he peed with me on him for the first time in the 2 years I have owned him last week. He was a lot stiffer pre treatment but that's all I noticed performance wise.
