I have a friend who has a gelding who has a bone spur in his front right hoof, was taken to a vet and x-rayed....vet told her on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the worse), he was a 1. But he needs egg-bar shoes, or padded shoes.....would this condition affect his performance?
