Hello - i just bought a gorgeous little mare and she is gritty gritty gritty.  Though she isn't my first paint, i am unfamiliar with any of her bloodlines.  I have googled, binged etc but can't find anything so i thought i would reach out here.  Please let me know if you have any info on her lines.  Also, she is registered gray but has a dorsal stripe.  does she need the tiger stripes to be a dun?

I have a an own son of Matador and love him! One of the best all around horses I have had, tough, smart, loves attention, not fragile minded. I know that's far back but Matalena was a 2 time APHA CONGRESS CHAMPION in cutting. Chiefs Thunder was ranked #52 back in 2010 for leading paint barrel sires but that might not be saying much because he only had one offspring that performed only winning around 2500, not sure where he ranks now if at all. I'm not familiar with anything on the bottom side other than those far back, Watch Joe Jack - superior performance and halter horse, sired world champions in halter and performance, My Skip Ashwood - a superior halter horse.

Great info.  Thank you!  My mare has a GREAT mind and works really hard.  I love her and would buy another but didnt know much about the performance records.  Her conformation is very nice, she is solid and athletic but more on the narrow side.   If i breed her, i will look for a stockier build.
