I am in the process of building a breeding program and i want to offer a farm insentive.
Im thinking i want to be able to recognise our horses every year, as aposoed to a huge cash reward for winning the NFR.
That would mean a smaller amount of money and or prizes but i feel its important to reward our wounderful clients every year.
My current thoughts are, 500 ish cash for first futerty/derby winner each year or rodeo finals qualify (must have used horse in majority of rodeos) and winning the average.
250 to highest money earner each year.
Possibly some blankets, sheets, halter???
I also want to figure out a youth award just not sure exactly what.
Im just trying to figure out what i want to offer and what people want.
I have been thinking of doing the same thing and wondering what would work. We only have a few colts running but will have a bunch hopefully in 3 yrs . You will have to share all your good ideas you get. I am putting some money away this winter to use for the first year and build on that
