Samantha Lyne changed horses last night. What are the rules for horse changes or are there none?

To my knowledge, there are no rules on horse changes.

Technically, someone could ride 10 different horses at the NFR ... a different one each night. It is the PERSON that technically qualifies for the NFR; not the horse.

No rules.  You can ride whatever horse you want.

I want to say that the same horse cannot be ridden more then once though?  I'm not sure on that.  I know other events you can share horses but I don't think you can in barrels (not that most would want to run a horse twice

In the WPRA, more than one person can ride a horse at a rodeo. Most of the amateur associations are the ones that have rules against it, at least in my part of the country.
