i found a cactus saddle and a brett monroe signature saddle i really like. was wondering how these saddles fit other horses, if the seat sizes ran big or little? any other brands that aren't junk but are around the 1200 range?

I haven't run in any of those saddles, but I ride a Coats saddle....OMG. Fits almost any horse, and is soooo comfortable for me. They are such sturdy strong saddles...Mine is pretty old and still looks like it could be only a couple years old.! Look up http://coatssaddlery.com/

What Cactus is it?  I have 1 Brandi Halls and 3 Charmaynes.  The BH has FQHB but fits a narrower horse.  The bars are real straight up and down.  The CJ's are awesome.  They are a 7" gullet also but have tons of flair so they fit down on a horse great.  They won't work on a horse with a high wither though.
