I just euthanized my 12 year old border collie this morning because lymphoma had taken over his poor body, and I'm currently on my way to pick up my twelve year old cousin. I'll be staying with her for a week while her parents are in Vegas. She's very shy and has some different abilities please pray for me to hold it together and make this a good/fun week for her. And to make it worse it's finals week.
Bless your heart....that is so hard to do and my heart goes out to you! Maybe being with your cousin will be the distraction you need right now. Big hugs to you!!!!!!!!!!
I really hope so she's a sweet girl and I really like her. I'm just worried that all the changes with her mom out of town (her dad passed away a few years ago) and me being here will make her upset. Thanks for your prayers guys I'm so glad I have you all here to be my shoulder.
Something strange I realized while I was waiting for her bus is that exactly six months ago to the day I had to euthanize my Redman gelding because his navicular got to the point that it was unmanageable.
