I have also searched this many times over the past several years. FarmTek seems to have the monopoly on the market. But however, recently I stumbled upon another timing system. Now I cannot remember the name but seem to think it had the word "game" in it. Let me do some looking....

found it. and it's not associated with game.. don't know why I though that. I saw this link on the Charlie Horse Software page. I use their software for the shows I produce.

Here's another one I just found. The single beam would be what is needed to time barrel racing if that's what you're needing it for. The description in the following link should make it clear what it will do.. i.e. time events that have a common start/finish line. And this system is VERY affordable. Only $249.

Thanks! I found some made by thunder paws timing systems? THey are 400, but include the tri pods etc. I just looked up the track tronic and it only has 90 foot max beam. THats pushing it for our big patterns out here. But thanks for finding it for me!
