Location: Never in one place long | My friend and I are meeting in Tulsa in January for a girls weekend, we both like horses, history and food! What are some things we should do/see. Any nice restaurants you recommend? I know she likes Italian and I eat mainly vegetarian. Thanks for suggestions!

| I love Tulsa, but I am a bit biased :). I would definitely check out the downtown area; it is full of museums and great restaurants, all within a two or three block radius, including the Woody Guthrie museum and Guthrie Green. The Gilcrease Museum has a TON of amazing Native American artifacts and exhibits, so I would definitely try to get there! Depending on what weekend you come, there may be something going on at the Fairgrounds, a trade show or something like that. Mary's Italian Trattoria on Cherry Street is my hands down absolute favorite Italian place. Feel free to PM me! | |

Location: The Oklahoma plains. | I was born and raised here. Dont forget the Philbrook museum. And downtown as mentioned- I recommend McNellies Pub- you have to try the chokes and cheese! Vegan, you might try Brookside and Cosmo cafe or Italian, I prefer Mondos!
