| Are they both riding treeless saddles? I know Fallon is but not for sure about Trula- I've been trying to get a good look all week but can't make it out for sure! Anyone know? Just curious- :) |

| Interesting! Thank you! They both look very confident- and I know that Worm is a butt dragger in the turn- I tried a treeless 2 years ago on a super ratey mare and it worked great! There's alot to be said about being able to keep your butt down- which isn't my greatest skill- lol! :) |

Yes, she rode a BM since the 80's. I htink she was rookie of the year in like 92? She used to run in our local association. |

Based on the first nights video, I'd say Fallon is in the Tammy Fisher and Trula is in a Jackie Jatzlau. The Tammy has a higher cantle and on Trula's you can really see it in the first nights video when she goes in the gate. It's a LOW cantle. |

I agree- when she told me back in the early 90's, she said to special order the trail rider cantle, since it was lower. Maybe she special ordered this one? |

| I was just wondering about Trula's saddle. I knew it was treeless but was thinking it looked like a Jackie. |

No, it specifically states the Jatzlau's have a shorter cantle |

Yep, she did. After several repairs, she finally gave in and got a new one a few years ago:) She did get all the goodie out of that old one! |

| Where is the best place to order one of these saddles? I talked to circle y and they said order the same size seat that u would in a regular barrel saddle? I have also heard the opposite, that u will need about a size bigger? Aren't u supposed to measure ur thighs? Just want to be sure to get the right one! |

Use Google for what you want and you will find the best price as some of the stores will have a sale on them. |

The Bob Marshall has the option of the trail saddle cantle. That was long before the Circle Y Tammy and Jackie came into play. |

Location: Peach State | I have a jackie, love the low cantle. I got a good deal $1,530 at my local tack store because of holiday sales. I have the wide that fits all my mature horses great, a little wide for my colt but I'm sure he'll grow into it. My form is so much better since I've switched to treeless I can really have a secure seat and drive my ratey horses all the way around a barrel. |

I agree with this! I ordered one from a well-known tack supply store two summers ago, first they sent me the wrong saddle, and next they sent me the wrong size. I had to argue with them both times before I sent them back. I found Felicia's number (I think on here, actually), and she is by far the only person I would ever buy a treeless saddle from. They are not the same as the tree saddles, and only someone who knows them well like Felicia can get you the right one- especially for a first time user! |
