Location: Central Texas | Trail rides, cat and mouse horseback, "calf branding", camp fires, overnight camp out, dance night swimming, hiking, rock collecting, skits. I used to run the horse end of a large horse camp that had lots of stuff going on. |

Location: Slipping down the slope of old age. Boo hoo. | Decorate old horse shoes. Modeling clay to make horses. Stick horse decoration / show. Mane decorating contest (if you have a gentle horse for each camper -- provide some ribbon, barrettes and bows....) Use a gentle horse to teach them the parts of horse -- have names of the parts on big sticky notes and have them stick the note to the part.... withers, knee, poll, hock, cannon, etc...after you have been teaching the parts for a few days.... |
