Location: California | I have not tried the tea but I do have a Synergy Kombucha drink every day. A lot of people claim it helps digestion while other research says there is no evidence of health benefits backed up. I go by the rule of thumb, try it and see how you feel ! |

Location: Down South | while I was laying around earlier this week with the flu, I watched alot of TV. There is a show called Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, a segment he featured was about Kombucha. It's quite a prosperous business for the entrepreneur he featured. They ship Kombucha growing boxes all over. The jelly-like disc that is a byproduct of the fermentation process (I think I've got that right), can be eatten. They ate it raw, fried it up in a tempura batter, made a miso soup with some... I must say... I would try it.!! |

What's the name of your choice and where do you get it? Is GT the name of the brand? |

I buy GT and Celestial Kombucha teas at Sprouts and HEB, both grocery stores that have organic products. It is in the refrigeration part. I agree with SG, it is an important part of my health care. I think it has helped my gut as much or more than probiotics. I drink 1 bottle a day, but I would drink it more if it was recommended. |

Location: CA | Kombucha is rather expensive and so easy to make your own. You need a SCOBY( Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast ). You can make one with store bought Kombucha or get one from a friend. Kombucha is rich in antioxidents and several other things good for the "gut". It is awesome to top dress your critters feed with, works a lot like ACV with a boost. If you get a SCOBY you will only need tea and sugar to make your own. :)
