So I got engaged in Vegas last weekend!

I know who I want in the wedding, just not how to ask them.

I don't want to just do the normal asking people over the phone/dinner to be in my wedding. I want something creative to ask them with. I've searched pinterest and haven't come up with any ideas I just love so I figured the creative geniuses on here may have some great ideas!

Al my friends I plan on asking are really fun creative people, but I can't exactly ask them!

Would love to hear your stories!

I didn't ask mine in any special way, but one of my friends sent us all a book called something like "The Bridesmaid Handbook" or something similar, along with a card asking us to be a bridesmaid.  I thought it was cute!

Give them all ring boxes with a note inside asking if they will be your bridesmaids.

This is what I did. Went to hobby lobby bought unpainted pine boxes and painted them myself. Inside the box included picturs of my wedding dress ideas, their dress ideas, flower ideas, etc. I put all of my ideas for the wedding in there to get their input and make them feel like they were apart of the planning process.

Most of the weddings I've been in, my friends have just asked me over dinner or drinks. One friend who I grew up with sent me a beautiful card she made with a sweet poem on it. I loved it!

If you and your friends are wine lovers, I've seen girls do custom labels for bottles of wine! Or beer as well :)

Candy bar wrappers would be fun!

I love the ring box idea but one of the girls in mine did that when she ask me so it rules that one out for me.

I love the box! And we're all kind of wine-O's so maybe I'll get a box and just do mini wine bottles in each and label them and fill it with all kinds of stuff. I like that you put ideas you had for the wedding in yours. I wouldn't have thought to do that!
