| What could you expect to pay per month for someone to take a colt with all of the bells and whistles and get the horse loping a sold set ready to be exhibitioned and hauled/ finished? I have a colt I really have some high hopes for that I am considering sending off but I have no idea what the $ range for a trainer like that is. |

Location: DUMPING CATS AND PIGS IN TEXAS :) | My dude is $700 a month and they must stay at least 2 months. He is breaking and starting the pattern. He was riding her the second day there though. She is the one we are taking to LG Sale and will be with him a total of 2 1/2 months. He believes, with the way she is training so far, that she will have the bells, whistles and beginning to lope a set. We'll see. |

Mine includes feed, hay, not starving her and actually breaking her. |

She doesn't drink much, but flash a nice saddle or shined up tack at her and watch her get all giggly. |

Of course that means you're going to have to find a bit or saddle or pad that I don't currently have or previously had.....may the force be with you! |

Location: Gainesville, TX | I paid $500 with me providing all feed and hay to the girl who put the first 30 on my girl. $850 a month to Liana (feed and hay included in cost) but I paid for her shoes, vet, etc. Both trainers rode her themselves. She came back looking great in both instances. |

I'd say this would be a very good choice! Mary can get it done and horses seem to want to work under her. |
