Anyone ride one?  Are they deep seated and are they a quality saddle?

I had an older Nathan Lamb barrel saddle as my first barrel saddle. It does have a deep seat and it was pretty light. The tree is wood coated with fiberglass. I wouldn't call them top quality because my husband tore mine down to do some repairs on it and discovered that there weren't any skirt stiffeners in it and the synthetic wool was stapled on. This caused the skirts to wrinkle over time.

All in all it wasn't a bad saddle. I rode in it for several years and sold it after the improvements (new stiffeners, wool, and stirrup leathers) were made to a girl that loves it. For the money they are not a bad saddle and I do recommend them to folks on a budget.
