So this is my mare's 6th barrel race. It was a double header. First run she FORGOT we were running barrels...decided to just run around the arena. I mean we made a clean run but it was a 20.3. Anyways I gently reminded her what the objective was, and she did better the 2nd time. I held her back going to 1st...didn't want her getting ahead of herself again. Would rather have a slow time and clean run. Please critique anything. I want to go far with this mare...hopefully fill my permit with her. Time was a 19.4 on a standard pattern. Our fast time has been a 19.1 in this pen and she's gotten that twice. Was really hoping for an 18 this weekend, but with a blown first run, it was hard to re-coop. Thank you everyone! (BTW I'm not fat! Haha my carhartt jacket is huuuuuge!)

I think I'm the only one in the world that doesn't have a youtube acct or has ever posted on youtube! Is it possible to private message it to someone who knows how to reduce the file?

Darn well I guess this was a failed attempt. Thank you for letting me know that. Trying to delete the threat but the site isn't letting me. Oh well I'll just let it die on its own.

I pm'd you.
I can tell you one thing without even seeing a video is you do not run with a big jacket on. I learned this from Martha Josey. No matter how cold it is, you take your jacket off walking up the alley. At a rodeo even if it is -30 degrees you will get dq'd with more than just a button up long sleeve shirt on. I would be that person running barrels looking like a snowball, but it affects the way you move too much, plus with all that adrenaline you won't feel the cold anyways!
