| That is great to hear! So glad you are doing well :) How are you feeling? I love your name choices by the way!
I am going to be 37 weeks here soon! So that means I am getting close! The doctors were anticipating a c-section, but now say they are leaning towards a normal delivery. Which is great news! I am so excited to get back on my horse! |

I have been feeling great this whole time. No big symptoms of being pregnant. This is my first, so the closers it gets the more anxious I'm getting.
Glad you are getting close! Are you having a girl or boy? |

How exciting for you to get to find out the gender next week, congratulations! I like your name choices as well...Remington is unique and catchy. =)
I'm currently 28 weeks and this is our first. My husband is over the moon we are having a little boy! We did a scavenger hunt gender reveal for the family over Thanksgiving, it was a lot of fun =) Now picking a name, that's proving to be a bigger challenge...
As for me, I am of course grateful and excited, but I never pictured myself the "motherly" type. Before I found out I was preggo I just bought a 3 yo I was planning to futurity on 2015, we just relocated for my husband's job, I resigned from my job, moved into a new house, etc... So a ton of changes and our plans changed drastically due to the upcoming arrival of a little human. I miss riding and my career, but I am excited for the future as well. I supposed life happens when you're busy making other plans.
Best of luck in your pregnancy!

I have a coming 3 year old that I'm looking forward to getting on this spring but have had him at the trainer's house periodically to keep him tuned up. Oh and we're having a girl! |

Congrats! We are doing a reveal on Christmas Eve with my side and Christmas Day with his side.
Boy's names weren't that hard to come up with, girls on the other hand, has been a different story.
We were trying to get pregnant, so I knew it was coming... I found out the weekend of my playday finals. I'm done after that until about the end of Jan., so my horses are getting extra time off this year. We are planning on moving before or soon after the baby gets here in May and we will be relocating too.
Good luck with everything!!! |

| 29 weeks. I have horrific heartburn that can make me throw up, even with my zantac and tums. I can't sleep due to this. My muscles are just sore everywhere. There are unmentionable parts that you just don't want to know about. My belly is so big that my muscles get sore if I stand too long (my belly muscles that is) from trying to hold it up.
Yep, still hate being pregnant. |

| We just found out that we are expecting #1 yesterday, and according to all the apps, we are about 7 weeks and due on August 4th.
I haven't had any signs really.. Other than sore and huge boobs and some pain/uncomfortableness in my lower abdomen that 2 doctors first told me was a cyst on my ovaries. Nope..I'm prego!!
I'm really hoping for a girl and hubby wants a boy. All of my cousins have had boys (6 so far) so we need some estrogen in our family |

Lol...I hate to laugh, but I had this happen last night! Heartburn is the WORST! I thought I was tough until I was preggo...this isn't for sissys!!!
Hope your heartburn gives you a rest. I have been eating Tums like candy.
With regard to the soreness, the chiro has really helped me. He said the oxytocin is making my joints move and hips spread which is causing all the discomfort. Just because there is a scientific reason doesn't mean I am ok with it!!!
Congratulations on your pregnancy and just remember it's only 40 weeks, it won't last forever |

Barfed until week 20 about 6 times a day, down to 1-2 times a week now. Not too bad on the heartburn end of things yet. Hoping with christmas, new years, then the baby shower it will go fast! I am due march 5th which is one day before my birthday.
Those people who LOVE being pregnant are CRAZY! Fell down on my butt in the barn the other night, simply b/c my big a$$ belly makes me top heavy. Had to call the husband to come out and help me up. Like a beached whale. Told him to just bring me a blanket and leave me there. Pretty sure my mares were laughing. |

Ultrasound and testing today, possibly induced this weekend. Got pregnant right after the "I do's", literally. Hubby was here for the weekend then gone for 6 weeks. Dehydrated at 9 weeks and was told I had something like the royal chick over seas. My specialty vitamins are the only thing that keep me from hugging the throne. I had a lot of health issues and Am very thankful for this baby, but e won't be doing this again for a little while. Hubby deployed last month so it's just me, my sister and our folks. My poor husband is going nuts not being here and feels absolutely terrible about it. He wants to be herbe so bad and I wish he was, I mean after all he did help put me in this predicament lol congratulations everyone! I feel for those who are having a rough time and I envy those having an easy go. Like another bb said its only 40weeks and a few days so far lol |

All I can say is you sound like a great wife already and hang in there! I keep reminding my husband, "You did this to me!" We laugh about it, but I too envy the women having the "easy" pregnancies.
I'll be sending good thoughts and prayers your way. |

I also agree with seeing a chiropractor at least once monthly, they are amazing. Just make sure your chiro is specialized in dealing with pregnant women or they can do more harm than good. Good luck to all of you ladies!! |

My husband works out of town during the week and I hate to say this, but sometimes I'm actually glad. It takes the entire bed to build my pillow walls and get somewhat comfortable. The nights he is home causes the bed to dip a little towards his side and I can't get the pillows set up as good. So it takes a ton of effort and lots of grunting to get out of bed for all the night time potty trips.
I'm hoping the holidays make the next 5 weeks fly by. |

| I'm not trying to steal the thread but I don't want to start another one since all you ladies are already reading this one. Just one question. How much does insurance cover? I know it depends on your plan but for instance, does it only cover like 2 ultrasounds and any others are out of pocket? Do you find reagular health insurance (I have BCBS) is enough or do you have supplemental maternity plans?
We are trying to start a family, so hopefully i'll be able to really join these threads soon! Thanks for any advice! |

I also have bcbs and mine paid for about 80%, I think. We had to prepay what the insurance doesn't cover and it came out to around $1300. That pays for all my check ups, ultrasound (my dr only does one), the birth and two follow up appts. I have had to pay a little on some of the labs (maybe $10 each visit?) I'm sure every dr is different, but it might give you an idea!?
I'm 20 weeks right now. Get to finally have my ultrasound December 31st! Ready to see if it's a boy or a girl. Finally got past the sick part, so I have started to gain a little and starting to get a belly. Just telling myself, halfway there! |

Glad I am not the only one who feels this way! My husband trains horses but also works for the fire department which is 24 hrs on and 48 hrs off. The nights that he works I seem to get the best sleep because I can build my pillow fort just the way I want! And it does seem way more complicated to get out of bed when you are sharing it with someone else.... |

There have been tons of posts made about this topic, and every one has different opinions. I quit riding as soon as I found out. My horse slid into the out gate and fell with me just a few weeks before. It was just a freak deal but things happen. Myself, I couldn't take any chances. It's only a few months out of my whole life and it's just not worth it to me to risk it.

I quit riding once I found out. I always thought I'd be the one that would ride until I delivered, but things just changed once I found out. The risk just wasn't worth it to me. My horses are total rag a muffins sitting in the pasture now... I feed and brush them, they are loving it lol :-) |

I have my baby shower, I will be leaving my job to be a stay at home mom, and we will be moving, all within the same week of each other!!! I'm still feeling great, no real big issues. I did fail my gulcose test and will have to go back in for the 3 hr test tomorrow. I didn't fail it too awful bad, my numbers were at 151. |

I failed my glucose test too, but not by much. I had to do the 3 hr but it was more like 4 hrs +. I passed that one. I've read that its pretty common to fail the first and pass the second. how borrrrring that was, take an ipod and friends if you can lol! my baby girl is 2 months old now. I have yet to ride my horse, mostly because its winter and cold/muddy. Can't wait to get back to riding/training! Glad all is going good with you so far |

| I'm 24 weeks now and got kicked off horses a few weeks ago by my doctor BC I have a low lying placenta. I'll have to have another ultrasound around 30 weeks to make sure its moved up, which she said most of the time it does. We found out we are having a little girl and no other issues besides not sleeping for 2-3 days at a time but I've started to get used to it now, lol. |

The waiting yesterday wasn't that bad, I had my baby shower invitation to work on. I will know how I did later today. I ready to get back riding too. We have had really nice weather this past week and I have wanted to get on. I stopped riding after I found out because my playday season was over already.
Glad everything else is going good with your little one! |

My sleeping hasn't gotten too bad yet; waking up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and waking up at 3am and not able to really go back to sleep. Hopefully it will get better before the baby gets here. |
