Location: Canada | I love mine, and it's made by Jerry, and the quality is great. Although the Concho's fall off all the time. |

Jeremy's are the better of the 2. Jeremy is Jerry's son but they both go by Pro Rider. Age has a lot to do with it too. I would buy one of Jerry's older saddles but nothing made in the last 5 or so years. They changed trees and started having more of a factory made saddle instead of hand made and the quality isn't there anymore. And I would never buy the ones that have the economy racer stamp on it because there made very cheap. Jeremy told me that it takes him 3-4 weeks to make one saddle and Jerry makes 20+ in a week. |

I agree- I own a saddle made by Jerry and also Jeremy. The quality isn't even close to the same, Jeremy's saddle are FABULOUS. I love it, high quality and fits everything I put it on |

Location: Southeast Ga | We have ridden in Pro Riders for years. My family has 5 total. We have always made sure we have gotten them made by Jerry, and not his brother Gerald (I think that's his name). All of ours are older though, and don't have any that are build on the new trees. I just bought a used one made by his son Jeremy, and it rides just as nice if not better. A friend of mine bought one by Jerry on the new tree and she doesn't like it.... I also have to say ours have always fit everything we have put them on.

I think Gerald's are ProRacer they are not good at all. Jerry's new tree is more narrow than the old one. I believe Jeremy uses the tree that Jerry was using.

Location: Canada | A1 Saddlery is owned by Gerald Bethune. He makes Pro Qualifiers. They are the best for the money. I have ridden in them for 20yrs. |

Location: n.c. | Pro riders are very good saddles for the money. A-1 Saddlery by brother Gerald are good saddles for the money. Been riding in one for 16 years. Still going strong. Now as far as the newer ones? Can't say. All mine are old. |

| I have Jerry's & Gerald's, both are very good quality for the price. Both are also older ones, so can't speak to quality on a newer one.
They ride nice, and my A1 fits more horses than any other saddle I've owned. |

Location: NC | Hubby has an older model Pro Rider. He's had it for almost 10 years and it's been ridden in A LOT and treated not so nicely. Still looks and rides great!
I have one that was brand new last year. I bought it used. It's been great to me. Looks good. Rides great. I just find myself behind a lot because of me being very out of shape. It only has the 4 inch cantle so I really can't use the saddle to keep me forward
The saddles are great for the money. They tend to fit a narrow &/or high withered horse best. You won't need a thick pad with them. The horn sits pretty high since the swells are pretty tall. It's a square front instead of rounded, which I prefer. They're good all around saddles. They give you a good place to sit down without being too deep that you can't get up and ride if you need to. |
