Todd Slone pads are awesome under all of the treeless saddles. No slip, no slide, nice cushion & the front cut-out helps fit & makes the saddle stay in the middle.
I'm curious of this as well....does anyone use 5 stars under their treeless? I'm looking at the Jackie saddles I don't want to have to buy new saddle pads if I can use my 5 stars. Also is there an issue with the thickness of the pads you use with these?
The one general issue for the horse on a treeless saddle is the fact that there is not a "spine channel" to relieve that pressure. One way to add that channel over the spine is to use a pad that is split or creates the channel by being made into two panels that sit to either side of the spine. I don't know what ones do this in the western world...but I have a skito pad that has two separate panels for my distance saddle.

Yes, we sell a lot of 5 Star pads to treeless saddle owners. There is the standard endurance/trail that works well & then they also have a newer one that they designed more for treeless that only comes in the thicker thicknesses.

Thanks Rocky...Most people I see use the treeless have very thin pads...my thinnest 5star is 3/4 inch. Didn't know if you had to use a thin pad... I keep thinking I would want a thicker pad since there is no tree! lol
Go with a 5 Star, thats what I used at the time when I had my Treeless. Now I'm liking my Oxbow pad's too. so maybe give one a try if you dont like the 5 Star.

Saddleright!!! I have ridden treeless saddles for years and have used Todd Slones, Cutter Collection and half a dozen others. The only one that has not slipped at all is a Saddleright. I admit I was skeptical at first but after I bought my first, I bought the second one about a week later. They are thin and last forever if you take care of them.
