| Mohair ropers cinch (wide at the bottom) Custom made by a saddle shop in Marshall Tx. They went out of business so I stocked up and should have enough to last me till I quit riding. |

Location: Choctaw, Oklahoma | I've gone back to my fleece roper smart cinch. I like it for the protection from the buckles it provides. I also purchased a wool lined professional choice cinch and it's kept my 2yr old comffy |

Location: Phoenix | I think I want to try the Airflex or a fleece cinch next. My horse doesn't really like mohair cinches....I like when the buckle is covered as well. |

Location: Tennessee | I use a fleece cinch. Reason being I have a TWH filly that I use to ride in a string cinch, I couldn't ride her for more than an hour & she would rub, so I tried a felt, same thing, neoprene worked for a while but I started working her harder as her training intensified, it rubbed her too, so I got the fleece & it works great for her & I've had no slipping issues on any horse I've rode with it. I've also had a felt cinch rub another horse raw, so I stay far away from those, its like you getting a bad carpet burn. So now I'm a fleece only gal. Oh & one more thing just FYI I always cinch my horses up, I never cinch to tight as I wouldn't want to be cut in half, why would they lol. |

Ditto- I had the air flex girths before these and I'm selling them all to buy more wool ones. |

How easy are these to keep clean? I use a Dennis Moreland roper cinch and I really like it but I'm interested in these shearling cinches too. |

Very easy, I just hang mine up, hose it down and let it dry. It looks practically brand new after. I love this cinch! |

Location: NW MT | 5 Star 100% mohair. To the poster that asked about the buckles - have never had any issue w/them rubbing or anything. I prefer the one they call the ss9 - it has a flat top that slides easily & the "1/2" tongue that folds down out of the way when you don't want to use it. (and of course stainless steel - that is standard on all of theirs) |
