Does anyone take Direct TV with them when they travel? I'm trying to figure out how to take it with when we go trail riding. I'm getting all kinds of different information from the rep. I think she's new.

We have it in our house & LQ both. We have a satellite dome on our trailer and just pay an extra fee every month to keep it hooked up as a 2nd receiver.

I bought another antenna--dish, took one to the receivers out of the house and hooked it up in our travel trailer. You can get a signal tester for pointing your dish. This saves about 45 minutes each time you set it up.

I also have a sattelite dome on my trailer. We just added another receiver but didnt tell them it was for my trailer. Only cost me an extra 6.00 a month. If I thought I had to set my own receiver, I dont think it would ever get done. I have watched people do that and its quite comical..

You should watch at an RV park--- hilarious
You need to invest in a meter to set your's up so you don't look like the comedy crew. I got mine at Camping World. They are cheap and you can get them on the internet. Cuts your time down from 30-45 minutes to about 5-10. Saves a ton of frustration.
