For those of you who give trophy buckles as awards can you tell me where you ordered them from? I am looking at possibly having a buckle series but have been out of the loop on what buckles cost these days. If you could include any pictures and prices of the buckles that would be great! Thanks in advance.

They sure do have some nice ones. Do you know what their prices start at? I hate that there are no prices on the websites.

100 for classic and 120 for elite, plus if you want anything extra done like engraving on the back, etc.

We have used Corriente and they for the most part turned out nice, I would suggest to shy away from those with the blue on the base, but that may just be personal opinion.
We have also used Montana Silversmiths, but ordered through a local distributor and got them at a better price that what is online.

I think Champions Choice all buckles are $140
Bob Berg makes some really nice buckles and are reasonable as well...depending on style and amount ordered they start between $125-$150+ and have a lot of selection!
Lone Star are reasonbly priced. The bigger the order the more discount.
I also like Yellowhair buckles.

Tres rios, they have excellent customer service and will work with your budget. They also stand behind thier product even if buckle is close to a year old! Love them!

Forgot to say you can get a really nice buckle <$125

A CUT ABOVE.......amazing prices and quality and the customer service is by far the best ever!!!! LOVE them. I do the award ordering for our buckle series and everyone LOVES them. Wish I had pics on this computer. We have also used Tres Rios. They are nice buckles and good prices, but they never came out exactly like we ordered them. Sometimes it was a simple as the wrong stone colors.

I've ordered buckles from Lonestar, Maynard & Yellowhair I think was the name?  I'd have to look.  All 3 were great to work with.  As far as size goes as with any company you need to ask, they make buckles in lots of different sizes.  Lonestar was my favorite.  I loved the guy I worked with.

Please consider Bob Berg...as the awards director for the last 5 years in my association, I've ordered close to 100 buckles from 4 different companies. They were all nice, but Bob Berg is absolutely outstanding in his quality, design, great attention to detail, and sheer beauty. You can get a gorgeous buckle for about $125. I'll never order from anyone else!! Terrie his secretary is awesome to work with! google Bob Berg Designs, you will NOT be sorry!!

Maynard, Bob Berg, Tres Rios, A Cut Above, Clint Mortenson, and Gist are all great ones. Personally not a fan of the Montana Silversmiths ones unless you get into their higher end line. They all look the same to me, and I think they're all very plain.

The buckles I rotate between wearing consistently are a Gist, Tres Rios, and Clint Mortenson.

I love Champions Choice, A Cut Above and Bob Berg, all very nice quality.

I am not a big fan of Gist unless they are the higher end. The lower end buckles look very production and plain.

Bob Berg starts at $125 and in my opinion for the price, you can't beat his quality and detail. I love Champions Choice and A Cut Above but they run a little more.

Someone said this about Montana Silver Smith earlier and I feel the same way about Gist....you have to get the high end before they become unique.
I have a Champions Choice and a Bob Berg they are my favorite buckles. Have never dealt with CC but have with BB and they are great to work with and very willing to customize the order.

On about Bob Berg again...if you want to know the kind and quality of people there, here is my story: I have a handicapped son who is now riding in the 9-12 age group. As he only trots/lopes, he has no chance to outright "win" a buckle. Well, I called Terrie Waters at Bob Berg and explained he'd be the only kid in his age group not getting one. So she designed one just for him, and when I said cool, how can I pay, check or cash, she said don't worry about it! They made him a gorgeous buckle, and just sent it with the rest, no charge. I like dealing with people that care, I hope you will, too! Attaching a picture of my son's buckle...

We had these for a rodeo Bible, ours were inexpensive (can't remember the exact dollar amount, was under 100) and really nice buckles!

I just won probably the prettiest buckle I've ever won. It's very unique and different and just plain pretty!  I won it at a Buckle Series and it was done by a company I'd never heard of, "A Cut Above",  I assume they have a website. I would highly suggest checking them out.
