| What do you guys do before and after a workout? What kind of supplements do you use? I am just fixing to start legging my mare back up after months off, and im curious as to what everyones routine is like. Poultice? Liniment? B.O.T? magnetic products? When do you use it all? For how long? What joint supplements do use? |

I'm pulling my 6yo mare up after a few months off. My routine is BOT sheet and boots as soon as I get to the barn in the evening, bring the horses in the barn and clean stalls ect. (About 20 mins) saddle, ride, BOT stuff back on until the morning.
Joint wise she is on total health enhancement muscle mass with joint and ulcer added. When I start running I'll probably put her back on Pentosan Gold twice a month. IM injections. I also like to have her accupuncture twice a year or more as needed and chiro-ed. Teeth, now that she's 6, once a year instead of twice.
I think that's about it. She has no joint "problems" so I'm just keeping her healthy at this point. |

Location: Sunny So Cal | I do BOT before and after ride, after hard rides I do ice the legs and will wrap. Don't really politice much unless the horse has a problem in the leg. Depending on the age and level of the horse in competition I feed either THE JointPLUS, THE FlamOxide or THE NutraWOUND. They do get injected once a year and some get Legend and Adequan depending on the level of competition. Edited to say that I do get them chiropracted and massaged on a regular schedule.

Location: Alberta | I am a huge fan of BOT, I have a blanket, quick wraps, polos & poll wrap. It pretty much goes on whenever they aren't in the pasture, before and after riding sessions and my 5 yr old wears the poll wrap the whole time I ride him (he loves it and it keeps him relaxed) I don't use any linmanets in the winter being its too darn cold most of the time. But I do use natural linaments in the summer months. The only supplement my horses get is Equi-Sure weekly.

Location: Piedmont, OK | I love bot quicknwraps for all 4 legs and everything I own is on Animal Element Performance Detox. It is great for joints, coat feet and topline and is one of the few supplements that has no fillers so you get. 100% of your moneys worth!!!!! |
