"FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS"... We hear people talk about it, we read about it in books and magazines, see it posted on social media... but what does it REALLY mean to follow your dreams? Well I can tell you from personal experience that it does not happen overnight! God plants a seed of desire, for something, in all of us. As we get older and life begins to happen, that desire is sometimes covered up by all the other things in our life. Maybe it's even our friends or family members that make us believe that our dreams can not come to pass. Or maybe, sometimes we are just afraid that our dream is silly or that we could never accomplish it, so our fear of failure lets that seed dry up in us and it never has the ability to sprout. I am here today to tell you to FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS! You don't have to have some big plan on how you're going to make it happen, just keep watering it and let God do His thing. If the seed is truly one planted by Him, it will come to pass, but you will first need to do your part. Get up everyday and do the things that you need to do. Work hard to be better, don't make excuses, keep your eye on the finish line. DON'T BE AFRAID! When we trust God's plan for our life, we will see amazing things come to pass. You may not see them from where you are sitting right now... But don't give up, your biggest blessing could be right around the corner! A wise man once told me that "you can't sit in the closet and expect God to squeeze a hotdog through the keyhole". Now go get some water on that seed!

Somewhere on youtube is a great speach by Jim Carey about reaching for your dreams and how the universe will help you. Sounds nutty until you start to really hear his words. If anyone can find it and post it, it's well worth the time to do so. |
