Lol....total performance...does it mean that I'm officially old if I fell asleep trying to get some dang pics posted on here last night? Lol....

Going the utube route since I can't upload the pics from my iPad (at least I can't figure out how).

Thieving step-daughter riding (said with much love). Her first horse ever to ride (has not got out of a walk and always on the lounge line till she finds her seat - helmet is next on the list....for her).

Me riding yesterday...3rd day on pattern (with many breaks between due to weather). While I know we are far from perfect and she would be better off in someone else's hands.....she is mine and this journey is for us (and my sneaky step-daughter lol). Our goal is to lope through with a nice fluid movement - if we never run or win anything I'm fine with that. Feel like I've already won.

I love love love this mare for many different reasons. Thanks for everyone's advice and encouragement.

Awesome!  One thing...don't let that lounge line drag the ground the the step-daughter on her...she might step on or over it and that could be a bad thing.  Your mare is looking good!  Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the advice! It has a boungee cord connecting to halter so it has some give and she's used to stepping on it. But agreed...I'm always telling her to push her out so the ropes not dragging! :)
