What is everyone's thoughts on Iconoclast boots? I REALLY would like to get a pair but not sure if I like the, should I say "Bulkiness" of them. Anyone with that has pros and or cons about them, feel free to share.

They may 'look' bulky but on the horse they are not.  I have a set and really like them.  Velcro sometimes is pain (ultra sticky) but like the fact that very little dirt gets in them.

Love mine. Nothing bulky about them. They are the only leg protection I've seen other than polo wraps that keep the dirt out.

They are not bulky.
I've been using them for 3 years now, won't go back to any other kind of boot again.

Not bulky at all we love them. We are in the process of cycling out all of our other boots and going to just iconoclast. The only cons are 1. Price but on the other side of that you get what you pay for and these really are the best. 2. Colors. Only come in black and white which is perfect for us bc we don't do trendy colors just black. I know you can dye the white I just haven't ever needed to so I don't know how it would turn out. Make sure you measure your horse before you buy as their fit is a little different. You usually need one size larger then other boots.

I've been using them for a few years now. They're great! Less dirt gets in them than the smb elite I was using.

I have been using them on the fronts for several years and love them.  Just ordered my first pair of hinds.  Can't wait to try them.  They are a little more expensive, but mine have lasted way longer than any other brand I have ever had.  Totally worth it to me.

love them! I don't think the white is too big of a pain. Easy to die with fabric dye as well and it stays!

They're not bulky, they keep dirt out and are awesome!! I cannot stress this enough: you MUST measure your horse before buying them!! They run a little small. If your horse is in-between sizes like mine (he's 10.5 on the front and 11.5 on the back), opt for the larger size. Mine is large in the front and extra large in the back.

Not bulky at all!  I love them.  My gelding had a previous front suspensory injury and was suggested that I keep him in them... so I have.  Was running him with nothing on his back legs and wound up with a suspensory injury there... so I have a pair of Xtra tall hinds waiting in the trailer for when I start legging him back up. I just wish they came in more colors.

They are awesome! I don't think they are high cause they last twice maybe 3 times longer than the other boots. I promise the velcro will never wear out. 9 out 10 runs I never have any dirt in mine. Love, Love them.

I am on my 2nd set now and will never ever buy another brand of boots. I love them. My first set will not velcro anymore, so that's my only disagreement with them. BUT they did go through mud extremely badly and even though I washed them, they just never stuck again. I feel my horses are much more supported. They are not bulky at all. They fit somewhat like prof choice elites, which are lighter than the smb's. They fit much more snug and wrap the leg much better though. I highly recommend.

Can you use the fronts boots for the backs or would they be too short? I have a chance to buy a pair of xlarge fronts, but would like to use them for back boots. Thanks

Personally, I think the front boots fit a little differently than the back boots do. I don't know how the height compares for the regular fronts vs the regular hinds because I have the extra tall hinds.

I love my iconoclast boots. They are not bulky at all and the Velcro is really sticky.

I will never buy another boot. I am like one of the other posters, I am slowly getting rid of my other boots and replacing them with Iconoclast. I can't say enough good things about them.

I think as they get more popular and can be more mass produced we will start seeing more color options. Even though they have been around several years now, they are still what I consider "new" when you think how long CE and PC have been around.

Like others have mentioned, I'll never buy another sport boot again. Nothing else compares with the support they offer or how great they hold up.

Have any of you used the recovery ones Iconoclast makes?  If so, did you just use them to exercise or did you use them for competition?
